Racist staff/ owner - as an Asian restaurant it’s funny to see they are discriminating Asians. If you are not white, just order the food finish them and go. No chitchatting no gathering

Food was absolutely amazing but the staff was rude and funny.

We visited here in March, staff was blunt and rude but we get
that most of the Asian food places are like that. However just after we finished, they kept asking if there’s anything we want to order, any dessert we want which basically asking us to order more otherwise you gotta pay and go.

We were a group of four - we ordered 3 main 1 side 1 platter 2 drinks 2 desserts- maybe they expected we should order more.

While we finished our desserts they said there was a queue outside and asked us to pay.

After we paid the bill, we went to the loo and saw many empty tables inside and there is NO ONE QUEUEING outside lol we were very shock could believe that can happen.

It’s was a weekday so it wasn’t busy after 9pm. We were the only Asians left in that restaurant and all the other customers around us are white and we are Asians.

They are still chatting while their food were finished and not ordering dessert but they get to stay. I don’t understand why Asians tend to do this to Asians.

Great Vietnamese food in the King’s Cross area! Everything was flavorful & cravings were satisfied. My favorite was definitely the thit kho trung. My girlfriend’s favorite was the pho. I’d try the whole menu if I could!

Ordered a bun bo hue, flavor was decent. But the soup was very salty and greasy. Service was quick, got seated quick and was given menu at a quick time, food came quick. Food was a let down. Usually I like to finish my soup but it was too greasy. See photo for how much oil is in the soup.

I have been a regular at the place for many years, and the food is always as fresh, tasty, and varied over time!

One of my favourites is the egg fried rice. It's not a complex dish, and yet it can be hard to find a tasty, well-made one. I absolutely LOVE the one from Sen Viet.

Sen Viet – Bold Flavours, Beautiful Surprises We had an incredibly tasty and refreshingly original meal at Sen Viet, a Vietnamese gem near King’s Cross. The menu is vibrant and full of character — from sizzling tofu and lemongrass-infused dishes to clay pots with green banana and mushrooms, every bite felt like a discovery.

The staff were warm and attentive, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. Even the desserts surprised us — deep-fried ice cream, anyone? The atmosphere was cozy but lively, perfect for a relaxed dinner with a twist.

If you're craving something flavorful, plant-forward, and a little out of the ordinary, Sen Viet delivers with flair.
